Red Velvet Cupcakery - Washington DC

I thought the restaurant did an excellent job with the flavor combinations. The cupcakes remained moist even at the end of the day, and the frosting was just the right amount—any more would have been overwhelming. I would definitely come back to eat here again.

I tried the Caramel Latte Cupcake, which had a dollop of caramel in the center. It was moist, but I probably wouldn’t order it again because there was too much frosting for my taste. On the other hand, the S'mores Cupcake was absolutely amazing! As someone who loves s'mores, it was perfect for me, and I would definitely get it again. The only downside is that there’s no seating available at the restaurant to enjoy your treats. You have to head next door to the neighboring coffee shop, but there isn’t much seating there either.
