Mandu - Washington DC

Having brunch at Anju on a Sunday was truly memorable; the food and service were exceptional. We kicked things off with dumplings and juk, then moved on to the famed chicken sandwich and the special French toast of the day, which was a chocolate moon pie flavor—a delightful surprise! Overall, considering the price, service, and experience, I would give it a rating of 4 out of 5. The only downside was that I noticed dust accumulating on several unused surfaces, like the thermostat and some decor. It seems like it's time for a thorough cleaning!

I absolutely love this restaurant! It's one of my favorite Korean spots, and their dumplings are my favorite. The dining experience is exceptional, and the prices are very reasonable. My little one wasn’t too fond of the food, so I ended up finishing her dinner too—hahaha! I gave it 4 stars because the service is just okay. The place gets really busy, so I recommend making a reservation before you visit.

I felt underwhelmed given the price. I ordered the Ssam board along with pickled cucumbers. The board itself was quite lacking; it included just three pieces of lettuce, two pickled radishes, a few cloves of garlic, a sauce, and the meat. For $34, I expected at least a bit more lettuce or another side vegetable. However, the pickled cucumbers were excellent! On a positive note, the pickup experience was quick and hassle-free, and the staff was very friendly, which earned them an extra star in my review.

Absolutely loved the vibe and service! The food was also very flavorful and great. We got the loaded hashbrown (large), spicy chicken sandwich, and kimchi burger with a couple of drinks. All of them were great- have to come back for more!

The food was amazing. Everything was immensely flavorful. Meat was tender. Portions are big, great for sharing. Service is fabulous. Came here on a snowy night and was delighted by the cozy ambiance
