Banana Blossom Bistro - Washington

I ordered delivery for lunch today. I had the pork bahn mi sandwich and cabbage salad with vermicelli. Both dishes were delicious! In the past, I've had bahn mi sandwiches with hard bread, but this one was perfect. The cabbage salad was refreshing and flavorful. I added Sriracha to make it spicy. I would definitely order again.

The bún was okay; the shrimp WAS cooked but it was a weird soft texture and the peanuts tasted expired. My card information also got stolen after paying here and someone went on a spending bender. :

Fantastic, fresh food delivered neatly and without too much plastic cutlery. Loved every bite. Will definitely order again. Pork Bah Mai and crunchy fresh cabbage slaw was awesome. Spring rolls were the best I've ever had (literally). Myhusband got the Hanoi pho, enjoyed it too.

I absolutely adore BBB. It reminds me of home. The broth is incredibly flavorful and rich, without being overly oily or salty. The eye round beef steak is always perfectly rare when it arrives at the table to be cooked in the soup. The noodles are never soggy. The restaurant has a chic yet homey atmosphere. If by some chance I'm not in the mood for pho, I might consider trying the rice dishes, but that's highly unlikely.
