Contribuiți la feedbackListen, I didn't expect much from this airport pizza joint because I'm from NYC and we don't play about our PIZZA. When I tell you that I was in shock when I took my first bite, OMGGG I felt like I was in NY. This pizza is awesome
The thin-crust pizzas here are among the best in Washington, D.C.! I highly recommend the Lot, which features a delicious combination of pineapple and chorizo, along with their tasty pineapple chups—a sauce reminiscent of pineapple chutney. I also enjoyed the pulled pork empanadas, though do keep in mind that you can't combine different flavors. Everything is quite affordable, and each pizza is substantial enough to satisfy one person, though sharing one pizza between two people could also be a good option.
I returned at 5:45 p.m. to put in my order, and the employee informed me it would take about 30 minutes, advising me to return at 6:15 p.m. Normally, they prepare pizza in about 5-10 minutes. When I got back at 6:15 p.m., there were 5-7 people ahead of me in line, with no separate line for those who had already ordered and paid. Out of courtesy, I stood in line with everyone else. While waiting, I overheard some customers expressing frustration over being unable to order through the mobile site as usual. It took about 20-25 minutes to reach the front of the line, and when I finally did, the employee informed me that my pizza wasn’t there because someone else must have taken it. I’m not sure if that was true, but I didn’t end up with my pizza until nearly 7 p.m. Several other customers were visibly frustrated by the wait, yet there was no offer of coupons, discounts, or complimentary pizzas for the inconvenience. I don’t blame the employees; it’s clear that management needs to implement policies that compensate customers who experience long wait times or significant inconveniences. Timber Pizza seems to rely on the popularity of their good pizza, assuming customers will tolerate their poor service. While I appreciate the convenience and enjoy the pizza, I have my limits. I’m glad to see more pizza places opening in the area; I’d prefer to support a business that values my time. I also really miss Pizza CS, where you could always count on amazing pizza and excellent service!
The restaurant is small and often crowded with both patrons and staff. The pizza is average in quality and a bit pricey.
Food taste great. They have serious communication problems. I was I can only get a table if I order. So I went ahead and order a beer and they gave me no table. Pizza is the best on DC just wish they expand to a bigger location or do open table.
