The Point Dc - Washington

We came in with a group of 8, booked very far in advance, excited for a celebratory birthday dinner at a new spot. Start to finish, our experience was pretty bad. We were seated right inside the front door with no other tables around, and it was so cold that most of our party had to wear our coats the whole time. I'm not sure if it was because we were seated out of the way, but our server seemed to forget about us on multiple occasions. The drinks were bad, the appetizers were cold, my friend was served cold soup, our fries were limp and cold... I could go on. We planned to do a few rounds of appetizers and smaller plates, but after the first items, neglected to continue ordering. We were still planning to do some birthday desserts but our server was MIA for 30+ minutes and came back smelling strongly of weed. After our bad drinks were empty for so long, we decided to head elsewhere. We spent over $600 and didn't enjoy a single part of the experience. Save your time and your money, don't come here.

Outstanding service and the food was awesome I would recommend this place to all those I know the head bar tender , sorry I can't remember his name( drinks were on point) was amazing and I would gladly come back again.

My party really enjoyed our dinning experience on Valentines Day. We made our reservations early to be ahead of the game. Our only concern was the Operating Fee that was charged for our group. We were not aware of this fee in the District of Columbia. We just found the fee to be a bit much. Not to mention you also have to pay for parking. I called ahead to find out the parking fee, but was unaware of the operating fee. This lesson was a learning experience and I will make others aware as I recommend friends and family. On a positive note, our server Mr. Greg was great and so helpful accommodating.

Every time I go to “ The Point “ the food is always delicious and my server always good and picks what I should eat! And they never miss! It's one of my favorite's! ???

We went on Saturday night and the food was beyond amazing. The salmon, lobster, oysters, etc. The server (Lindsey) was so sweet. She was vibrant, kind and went above and beyond. We were there around 7:30pm ET Saturday. I will definitely come back and ask for her!
