The Henri - Washington

We got caught in a protest last night in DC, which was quite frustrating. Pennsylvania Avenue was closed, and traffic was at a complete standstill near the restaurant. We had dinner reservations at The Henri and tickets for a 7pm show at the Warner Theater right across the street. Fortunately, we arrived at the restaurant about an hour after our reserved time. However, they seated us quickly, offered us water, and brought our drinks promptly. Since we were pressed for time, we ordered the charcuterie with some bread and butter, and it was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and ensuring we made it to the show on time!

In my previous visits to Le Henri, the restaurant was out of several menu items. However, this time it was fully stocked, and we enjoyed a fantastic meal. My wife had the Maine lobster, which she loved, while I opted for the delicious porchetta. We will definitely be returning!

Another wonderful evening! The menu was delightful, and the service was flawless. It was the best 69th anniversary celebration we've ever had. Thank you!

Love to have lunch at The Henri. The prices are a bit extreme even for DC so we only order the small plates, salads or soups. But every dish is delicious and so well prepared. It is a splurge but an enjoyable one!
