Olivia Macaron - Washington

This was the last stop on our Georgetown Food Tour, and it was fantastic! We got to taste the gingerbread and eggnog flavors as part of the tour. I also purchased a 7-pack box, picking blood orange, blueberry cheesecake, cranberry, fruity pebbles, pistachio, red velvet, and rose. I gave the rose to a friend, and my top favorites from that box, in order, were blood orange, fruity pebbles, pistachio, and red velvet. I would definitely come back again—10/10!

The macarons here are truly delicious, with a wide range of flavors that did not disappoint. However, the atmosphere inside the restaurant feels a bit awkward and quiet; they could benefit from playing some music or having some sort of background noise. I enjoyed eating the macarons much more outside with my group in the alley.

There are so many varieties of flavored macaroons, and they're absolutely delicious! I chose the butterbeer flavor because I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. It even has "9 3/4" on it—how adorable! Mine arrived with a slight crack, but it wasn’t too noticeable, and it still tasted fantastic, just like the butterbeer from Harry Potter World! I highly recommend it!

The store is located down and street that is on a walk only path. The gift boxes are great and present well for Macaron lovers.

Great macarons, the only downside is the price but honestly that's going to happen anytime you buy them in the US. Highly recommend the churro, blueberry cheesecake and wedding flavors.
