Magnolia Kitchen - Washington

The way the tables are laid out is pretty terrible. We were seated in the back corner with all the other tables filled and it was very cramped. We had to scoot our chairs in anytime the waitress came by or one one from the other tables needed to get by. Not exactly an ideal layout situation. Food was pretty average, I ordered a chicken pesto pizza and the crust was so soggy in the middle when I attempted to pick up a slice everything slid off which made things messy.

Great service, warm and welcoming. The food is solid, and we could hear each other talking together.

My son and I enjoyed a delicious dinner....dessert wasn’t great but not too bad. The creame brûlée has a burnt taste to it. We sat on the heated patio which was lovely. I found the indoor space to be quite loud which is why we opted for the patio. The noise level out there was just fine. We would definitely return. Pricing was very reasonable for the area.

I went here for dinner before a show in DC and it was wonderful. The overall ambiance is so nice and romantic, we stayed with some wine- pretty good basic selection. Our server was nice and very attentive. Got tacos as apps for the Tuesday $3 taco deal!! Then I ordered the shrimp linguine which was DEVINE, shrimp was perfect, had a nice garlic sauce and the portions were excellent for the occasion. My friends got the chicken havarti and chicken piccata which both looked delicious. Definitely coming back for date night!!

Fantastic brussel sprouts app and solid chicken salad...splurge with the fried chicken.
