Il Piatto - Washington

We went to the New Year's Dinner and had their on-site menu, which was four courses. overall, eating was good and the price was amazing for the amount of food we got, the only criticism of the food I had was that the aubergine parmigiana was stacked like lasagne, so it was super soggy, but the taste was good. otherwise the Risotto balls, gnocchi gorgonzola, limoncello panna cotta and the tiramisu were delicious! service was amazing and eating came fast and hot.

Had a wonderful time having a Christmas dinner with my family and I. We ordered the Chicken Parm, the Arugula salad and the Salmon with Polenta. We also ordered a The Godfather drink and it really elevated the night! The service was fantastic and there was easy street parking at K Street (thanks to the receptionist who gave us the tip at the restaurant). Overall, would 110% go back and bring more friends and family there!

We had a very nice waiter. Food is over priced and they should definitely improve on the cooking time of pasta and rice considering they are in the market as an Italian restaurant.

We were able to make a reservation for Christmas with ease. The decor is beautiful, our server was fantastic, and the food and drinks were amazing!!! Would definitely come back the next time we are in DC.

Perfect choice for Christmas lunch! The hot buttered rum was delicious, along with appetizer, salad, pasta and dessert...we overindulged a little and don't regret a bite. Actually we took half our mains home so we would have room for dessert. The chef came out herself to clarify a little request in our part which was greatly appreciated.
