Farmbird - Washington

I visited this restaurant with an interest in trying something new. I decided to order the Chipotle Masala Chicken and absolutely loved it! The dish was incredibly tender and juicy, which I later found out was due to the heavy cream in it. Unfortunately, I have a dairy allergy and have been feeling unwell all day as a result. I ordered the meal through Uber Eats, which did not provide information on the ingredients. Even when I checked the restaurant's website, there was no clear indication that the dish contained dairy. I called the H Street location to inquire about the ingredients, but the person who answered the phone was unable to provide me with a definitive answer. I was placed on hold and eventually the call was disconnected. I had to call another location in order to get more information. I believe that the menu should clearly list all allergens present in each dish. While Masala dishes are not always made with dairy, the lack of knowledge from the staff at the H Street location ultimately resulted in my disappointment.

The food at this restaurant is unbelievably delicious, with friendly customer service and a nice, not too crowded atmosphere. I highly recommend it for lunch, breakfast, and any other meal. Although there are many other restaurants in the area, it would be a mistake to skip out on Farmbird.

Delicious and fresh healthy food served quickly - what more could you ask for? I make sure to visit this restaurant every time I'm in town. I hope the owners consider opening a location in Utah.

Great lunch spot for specific vibe lots of vegetarian and GF options and fresh salads. Great for groups with tables that can accommodate 12 and great for solo dining with window high top option. All around good option if you’re craving healthy/fresh (don’t go there if you’re craving a burger ha ha meat options are chicken or tofu and bacon). The trays are reminiscent of cafeteria food, but if you like your food separated like I do it’s awesome for takeout Each item stays in its own compartment. Not sure if will be back, but like I said great spot for a specific vibe.

This was our first stop upon arriving in Washington D.C. My son ordered the Spicy Roasted Fresno and I tried the Spicy Chicken Salad. Both were very tasty. The prices of the items are more than fair and the service was phenomenal. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a nice welcome to D.C.!
