Contribuiți la feedbackI stayed at The Churchill Hotel and wanted to relax with a beer in the evening. When I told the waiter that I only wanted a beer, he suggested a Budweiser, and I agreed. Later, I overheard him speaking to another guest and referring to me and my friend as "typical tourists who only want Budweiser," adding that it was the worst beer they had. The waiter didn't attempt to offer me any other options and then seemed to blame me for choosing just a Budweiser.
Nice ambiance to enjoy a nice evening dinner with someone. The menu was a little limited, but the food was good when it came out. Fries were really good, by the way.Food: 4/5
Excellent place to have a drink and chill out in a beautiful section of Washington DC. Great happy hour and wonderful food choices.
The restaurant and bar at the Churchill Hotel on Connecticut Ave, just north of the Hilton, offers a cozy, open atmosphere with a mix of couches and chairs. Locals received flyers about special offers, but I forgot to bring mine, and the bartender was unaware of any promotions. I was staying just a block from the hotel and decided to give it a try. The menu featured a wide selection with separate sections for food and dessert, but there was no drink menu available. I ordered a watermelon martini, which was fantastic, and the chicken wings were both crispy and adequately sized. The service was a bit uneven, likely because it was later in the evening and the hotel was hosting a conference. Overall, I had a pleasant experience in a comfortable setting, and the food was enjoyable. The prices were on the higher side, with martinis priced at $15. I’d say it's worth dining here, especially if someone else is covering the bill.
Very pleasant restaurant with wonderful paintings. It was not very busy for a late afternoon but the staff was very attentive and the food was very good
