This restaurant deserves zero stars. I called to inquire why we received two brownies instead of the lemon bars we ordered, and the manager hung up on me without explanation. I called back to ask again, and she told me they were out of lemon bars. She didn’t offer any reasoning for substituting with something random and was quite rude during our conversation. I specifically requested that they notify us if they were out of lemon bars, but they neither called nor messaged us. This is not a good way to run a business.
I also asked to speak with a district manager, only to be given the number for another location, which informed me that BOOEYMONGER doesn’t have district managers and couldn’t assist. Undeterred, I contacted the original store again and spoke with the manager, who assured me that someone would follow up with me. Guess what? I still haven't heard from anyone. Additionally, while all of this was happening, I ordered from the correct restaurant and was not impressed with that meal either. So, to sum it up, I paid for a meal I never received and the one I did receive was mediocre at best. This all started at the Friendship Heights location while my actual order came from the Ballston location. Signed: Where's my meal?
Needed a quick affordable breakfast in Gtown. Little hole in the wall that serves diner food quickly. Food was fast and tasty. Only improves would be cooling the dining room down and crisping up the homefries before serving. Worth the quick stop if you're hungry. 10$ for a breakfast plate
Food is ok but overpriced. Portions and quality used to be much better.
