Pennings Farm Market - Warwick

I visited Pennings Farm for the first time for apple picking with Sourced Adventures. There was quite a bit of walking involved to gather the apples, and I think a hayride with the tractor to transport people around the farm would have been a nice addition—similar to what Fishkill Farms offers. However, the apple cider donuts were delicious!

We ordered wings, fish tacos, a cod Reuben, and local cider. Our server was fantastic and offered great recommendations for the ciders. We tried the ginger beet cider and the honey vanilla cider, with the honey vanilla being my favorite due to its sweetness, while the ginger beet was a little too dry for my taste. Now, onto the food: the wings were excellent—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, tossed in just the right amount of sauce. The fish tacos were fresh and delicious, though I wish they had served more than just two! The cod Reuben was decent, but I found the cod steak to be quite thin, mostly covered in breading. The ambiance was lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. They also offer ice cream, but I didn't get a chance to try it, so I can't comment on that.

I had a wonderful experience at the outdoor bar and seating area. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Everything was authentic, from the French fries to the battered fish. The wings were possibly the best I've ever had. There were also plenty of beverage options available. The market offers local produce and their own baked goods. Plus, there are nice shaded spots for seating. It's a great way to spend an afternoon!

Great place! We went for brunch and had a pleasant time here with great food drinks and atmosphere. Dishes were great quality and quantity-wise. Also great that it's in a store so you could find some fresh ingredients and get some grocery shopping done.Will be back!

We stopped in after skiing at mount Peter and we were not disappointed. We live in nyc and wanted a rustic, delicious brewery restaurant and we stumbled upon this. Service was pretty good even tho we didn?t get seen right away, but we shopped around intheir little market that had salsas, chips, cheeses, and meats as well as plants and BBQ sauces and cookies (my bf said the bestcookies he?s ever had . They have some of their local ciders on tap as well as a collection of others (I love a sour and theyhad that and a pumpkin ale so far drinks were amazing. Then we got a ?snack? aka fish and chips and my bf is from ireland hesaid the ?best fish and chips in New York?. They were light and flaky and came with all the fixings. Not to mention the frieswere absolutely delicious. Thanks for having us ! Hope to be back for apple picking in the fall :
