Coffee#1 Warwick

This coffee spot in Warwick used to be the best, but it is often disappointing now. The main issues are with the store environment. Firstly, the seating is poorly placed with most of the comfy seats either blocked together or right in front of the busy bar area, making it difficult to study or have a quiet chat. Secondly, tables are often left dirty and not cleared up for a long time, with dirty dishes piling up.

The restaurant consistently fails to clean up at night, with litter on the floor daily. The toilets are dirty and not disinfected before opening. A staff member is unhelpful and frequently late without explanation. The manager and best staff member have left, making the situation worse. It is advisable to avoid this cafe and instead opt for better service and cleanliness at other cafes in Warwick. Despite complaints, there has been no improvement, leading to a loss of £3000 in yearly turnover. We will not be returning.

I have visited this restaurant twice on a Sunday. I usually prefer going to Jacks Shack because they have the best coffee and service in town. However, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Unfortunately, the staff at this restaurant are very rude and unpleasant. I was not acknowledged at all and they just stood there chatting amongst themselves. It felt like they were inconvenienced by my presence and ordering from them. With so many other options in town, I would not recommend this place at all.

Large choice of drinks I personally enjoy the ‘Summerset’ smoothie) and a good choice of pastries. The interior is spacious and there’s almost always a free table.
