Balti Chef - Warwick

Been going to Balti chef for over years and it’s been the best ever takeaway curry house. Sadly found out today that it’s been taken over. They lied and said the same lady worked in the kitchen to convince me to still try it....It was awful!! Like sloppy watery tomato soup with sliced chicken. Clearly brought in chicken unlike the fresh chunks previously. For plus years I’ve order chicken tikka bunna masala which was creamy spicy and tasty. As I family all my children grew eating this curry as a treat. The end of a era. Very sad indeed. And I don’t appreciate being lied to, to make me order regardless. Don’t even try it.

I had to write this review, the food is wonderful and tastes like restaurant standard, better than ones in town!! So worth it, Less than an hour ago I ordered a lot, I expected to wait like what happens at other takeaways but it was...done in minutes, and after a long drive home, me and my family anticipated for it to be cold, but it was the complete OPPOSITE! The food is amazingly seasoned, and really captures Indian food. I will definitely recommend this and will come again with friends next time! Thank you! I could tell this food came from an experienced culinary man as it just was amazing, I have no words. Although the price increase was a little bit more than usual, it was still worth it

I’ve been going to this restaurant for a while, the food is always impeccable and my children always ask for this exact restaurant x No other takeaway is like it, other takeaways curries are quite watery and tasteless, but the new chef seasons it amazingly...and I never get sick of it! Recently, I saw a price increase, but it is worth it a lot! Other reviews are clearly fake. X

The food tasted lovely, starters were freshly cooked. Would highly reccommend the Chicken tikka main. had main dishes, were all tasty would definitely reccommend the chicken madras and the chicken balti.

I have been going to this take away for over years and I have always found their food lovely, I had tried many different places but never found one that done onion Bhajis or cheese nann the same way and the customer services was...impeccable. Tonight I have been and ordered and the food is terrible, no taste just spice, watery curry which tasted like baby food and the onion Bhajis just burnt my mouth threw spice. I’m very sad to say I won’t be going back and wasting my money.
