The Birley Arms - Warton

Can’t review as the place was shut and apparently has been for some time

It was closed and had been closed for some weeks judging by the mail on the mat. Travelled a good way to get there, not impressed opentable.

Turned up on Valentine's evening for a meal only to find it closed and in total darkness

When we parked outside we were informed the pub was closed until sometime in March for refurbishment! So we had to go elsewhere for lunch. Bizarre when we had booked online!!

Like this gastro pub a lot Nice atmosphere, good value Sunday Lunch menu, nice beef and duck course and ice cream to die for Our friends had a sharing platter and they thoroughly enjoyed it I’d go again, but it’s not particularly easy to find, but well worth the trip
