The Village Fryer - Warrington

This restaurant is a complete waste of time. I will no longer be ordering from them again. They are never on time and completely useless. I do not recommend ordering from them.

I previously ordered from this take away via Uber Eats and got the food no problem, the food was good. However, I placed an ordered tonight and scheduled it for a later time (almost 2 hours later). The order was accepted and me and my family carried on our Saturday evening looking forward to our takeaway treat. 15 minutes after the advised (by the restaraunt) delivery time, there was a notification pop up in the Uber App that our order had been cancelled. When u called the restaurant, assuming there had just been an IT error, I was told that the order had in fact been cancelled. Apparently they do not deliver to my address. That wouldn't have been a problem if 1. They hadn't have delivered to my address less than a week ago and 2. They would have told me when the order was placed, not when we're sat waiting for our food! I said as much to the member of staff who just told me they were busy, so no food could be delivered. They should have honoured the order and advised my address was out of the area for future reference, which I would happily have noted. It's absolutely disgusting! I've got kids here now who haven't had any tea as they've been waiting for this delivery. Would definitely not recommend this place. Its like Russian roulette placing waiting for your food. Order from somewhere that can be trusted and relied upon. Not here!!

I don’t think this place is aware that there is a pandemic going on. No masks worn, taking change from public then touching food, no limit to people coming in the shop, no signage or hand gel on entry. I’d hate to see the hygiene practices when not in a pandemic

Just called in as was passing through and picked up a bag of chips good service and chips were freshly made very nice

I ordered food from this restaurant and it was delivered three hours later. The food was absolutely disgusting. If you are looking for fast food, I would not recommend ordering from them.
