Faang Thai Restaurant Bar - Warrenton

Me, my daughter and son's GF had lunch at Faang Thai today. We started with the sampler platter. Satay, potstickers, tempora shrimp, and dumpling similar to kanom jeeb. The dumplings were dense and with no flavor. Satay was good but needed seasoning. Even the peanut sauce was a bit underwhelming. We ordered our lunch. Combo fried rice, Rama chicken and for me green curry w/chicken. These plates were huge! My green curry was delicious. Lots of green and red peppers, peas, bamboo, tons of chicken and great flavor. Didn't make my eyes water but almost! That Rama chicken looked so good. I'll have to remember to try it out. Everyone enjoyed their dish. I saw a table nearby with a thick steak on the plate with fries and broccoli. I'd like to try that also. Another great thing is that it's a 10 min walk from my house. Funny, I've never stopped in before but very glad I did, today. I will return!

The food is consistently good. The server now remembers us, which is nice. We like how popular it is but we never have to wait.

We ordered spring roll and vegetable stir fry w/ chicken. The bill was $27!!!! This is ridiculous and it looked like lunch sizes. Only comment was everything is going up. We have been loyal customers but will never go back again.

Chicken Pad Thai....nothing special and expensive. Got the same dish at a Thai spot in Haymarket for a lot less..same amount of food. Chicken wasn't cut down, huge pieces of chicken...why??? Not worth the high price.

Delicious! Quiet atmosphere, great atmosphere and the food is so good. Lots of vegetarian options which I appreciate.
