Their gyros are absolute If you're downtown, stop by the city market and check these guys out.
Always good food and friendly staff. If your lucky you even get to meet the owners. Both of which are amazing individuals. Pictured is the Mama's special: meatballs, with potatoes, and pitas bread. For dessert highly recommend their baklava. Seeting upstairs gives a nice view of the market.
I’ve eaten there several times and have always been happy. The food is excellent! I had the daily special today which was meatballs and they were so amazing I had to tell someone, so here I am.
This was my first trip in YEARS to the City Market, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the facility looks. The vendors were super nice and informative. I had a combo with a slice of Meat Lovers Pizza, salad, and a drink. The pizza was awesomely good. The salad left a lot to be desired for my taste, although the ingredients (iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and 2 whole banana peppers) were fresh. My companion had the Chicken Fettuccine combo with a salad, garlic bread, and a drink. She gave the fettuccine 2 thumbs up, but wished the salad had black olives and cheese or, something more “Italian”. Both meals together totaled $18+. Ouch! Ambas comidas juntas totalizaron $18+. ¡Ay!
