The Nook Restaurant Bar - Wantagh

Great food, great cocktails and a very old school nostalgia feeling. The owner Tom is very ingenious and speaks with everyone to make sure everyone enjoys his meal / experience. I would definitely recommend this place!!!

I can only say that "The Nook" is one of Wantagh's best kept secret secrets. It is a hidden treasure right at the foot of the Wantagh Parkway. We went to The Nook with our family and couldn't be happier. The atmosphere is nothing shy of old world charm. If you are looking for a juicy and quiet atmosphere, this is your place! The restaurant was clean about words. The staff was exceptional and very attentive to our needs. Nothing was a problem and everything we demanded was accommodated. The food was excellent and the portions were more generous. The owner Tom, is so welcoming and really gracious. We have been back a few times and the atmosphere and service remains consistent! How refreshing to see a family restaurant, keeping so beautiful standards and choosing such a nice menu. If you go, you almost feel like being with mothers for dinner. It is very family oriented and very welcoming. We will certainly return. Btw- You have to put in their bread that they put on the table as soon as you sit. It is so fresh and warm and really delicious!!!.

Great food, great taste! And well prepared! Service was great and the prices were more than fair!!

Good service and food ensemble with a hidden rustic case. the French onion soup, Steak au poivre, and Amaretto truffle ice are a must try!
