Yuta - Wanship

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The manager's generosity in offering us complimentary fries was a delightful surprise. The food was delicious, and the service was great. Although I embarrassingly admit that we removed our tip upon realizing a 20% gratuity was included, it was not a reflection of our appreciation for the experience. We're genuinely grateful for the great service and enjoyable meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A great restaurant still to be all the way ready to be just outstanding in the Michelin league I guess they intend to play. The place and the atmosphere is fantastic, with the kitchen wide open welcoming the guests upon arrival. Service is just correct (didn 't help that much when being asked about specific details of the dishes), the food is very good, handled very carefully, with vegetables from the organic farm the lodge has and that you should visit, and very nicely prepared (portions quite small though, from my point of view, specially entries and appetiser), I wish they were a little less pricey so you could try some more. Good wine selection in American wines (not so good in Spanish, for example) and great views to the mountains make it a great experience overall, of course if you can afford it (over 200$ per head with average wine plus the 'mandatory ' tip) Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I went for brunch with a friend. It is a beautiful property! I happened to read reviews and so I was aware of this policy: “For your convenience, a 20% gratuity will be added to all parties.” I asked the staff at checkout just to be sure I understood it correctly. I was surprised this wasn’t made more clear without me asking first. After I confirmed with staff, my friend said she had been to Yuta several times before and had not understood this policy on previous visits. This approach to tipping — and especially the way it is communicated as an afterthought in small print on the menu vs. clearly on the bill — seems to be a misstep. We came here as a party of 10 for brunch and sat outside. It was beautiful! Service was impeccable. Deddy was so attentive, warm and kind. Food was beautiful but the taste was just ok. A little under salted, if I may. Peach gazpacho was too vinegary for me. Also with these kinds of price points I’d expect real maple syrup with the ricotta pancakes. I’d have to say the tea and pastries were my fave and we ordered a little bit of everything. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fabulous restaurant resort. Incredible food and views. The “snacks” are for 2 people, the “appetizers” are for one as are the “entrees”. If you like Whiskey, especially Rye, there is a distillery next door. This is a great place to have dinner, the drive through the security building and up to the resort is an adventure in itself.
