Caffe Nero Battersea Rise - Wandsworth

Better go to Independent cafes, rude staff ruin the whole experience. Never coming here again. CLEAN YOUR SURFACES and take responsibility

I am a fan of this chain because I love their coffee and I often visit this particular branch. However, every time I go and order cake, it is stale. Once, I ordered croissants and it took three attempts to get a fresh one. The branch is clean and the staff are friendly, but the cakes and pastries are not well taken care of.

A Caffè Nero is a Caffè Nero, as with all the big chains the brand requires all the places to be effectively exactly the same. Of course each space has it's unique qualities, and this Caffè Nero is a really nice space, far nicer than others in this chain and other chains. I go to this one on a fairly regular, albeit not frequent basis. The staff are nearly always friendly and efficient, which is great. Sometimes, as on this occasion there was a problem and so a bit of a queue built up which is unusual here. The espresso and croissants were though exactly as expected, there was no brand fail here.

I would not go out of my way for this place. The place is average but it did have nice staff. Was passing by and ended up going here

The restaurant is a long, thin, and narrow room filled with strollers. However, the coffee is superior to that of other chain restaurants. The outside seating area, although small, is a great spot to sit and people-watch.
