Taqueria La Mexicana - Walworth

Love it! Between the grocery and the restaurant, they seem to have just about everything someone could want. We frequently order a big taco/burrito buffet beans, chicken, veggies, tortillas, and so on. They always do a great job. Everything looks and tastes fresh and is a big hit with our family, which ranges from toddlers to octogenarians. Only complaint/suggestion is that the appearance is a little tired, but that's a minor thing when the food is so good.

The real thing...right down to the Coca Cola. Fantastic friendly service in a humble environment connecting to a Latino grocery. I'll come here again and again for the honest and reasonably priced good food.

Their salsa and chips are very good. Their prices are good. The servers have always been friendly. The food is okay, the skirt steak is more like beef jerky but I like beef jerky. The shrimp I don't eat, it tastes like they are using precooked frozen shrimp instead of cooking up raw shrimp. The carnitas with fried pork are very salty and over cooked. Half the time the tables and menus are dirty and haven't been wiped down but i think they only have one server and she has others things to do besides clean tables. The food fills me up and takes away the Mexican food craving.

Great place to eat!! Real good food! Owner is very friendly! Tacos de alpastor are the best here!

The food was EXCELLENT! Everyone was every friendly, great service! Definitely would go back in our next vacation
