Star Of India - Waltham Forest

No good taste . Spended 34 pounds on food for 2 people and regert it after coming here . Food is no where near indian food . I was served with butter chicken full of coconut and tandoori chicken slices in it and burnt naan bread which was £3.50 for one naan bread . If you really want to waste your money go for this place . Im so sorry for harsh feedback but this is reality .they really need to look into thier food and quality . Only one person working on the floor to serve which is very exhausting when you need to ask for anything to topup .

Its impossible to tell if this restaurant is currently open, if it's moving, opening soon...I would advise not ordering until there is some clarity. Their website is up but their telephone number isn't working. Just a very unreliable business. Avoid.

WARNING DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! This is the worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to! The food was so watery and bland, we couldn't even eat it. The food didn't even look or taste authentic. The chicken was tough and the lamb was fatty. Even when I went there to collect, they had sent it out for delivery and we had to wait for it to come back to the shop!! When we called to complain and asked for a refund we was told no and they said just write a bad review. The low standard of food is shocking, it doesn't even deserve 1 star and is that bad it shouldn't even get and rating. Personally they should close down or find a chef that can cook.

Absolutely disgusting, watery food and terrible smell. The chicken is tough and the lamb is fatty. There is absolutely no flavour and has a really bad colour that puts you off of the food. I feel like this food is uneatable I warn you, please dont ever eat from there

After all the bad press I saw that they have moved premises so we tried it and it was like good old star of india. Food and delivery was excellent so good we had it two nyts running and for this weekend’s take away star of Indian yet again delivery and food Keep up the good work and welcome back
