Waffle House - Walterhill

This evening the restaurant was staffed by two. It looked like a tornado just hit. All the tables but one still had dishes from the last patrons. Our server pointed out the clean table got up drinks and more folks kept coming in as she cleaned up for them to sit. She took our order refilled our beverages. And took care of the other guests. Awesome food made by hard working people. Amazing service.

Overall I give it a five star though I feel management is a bit hard on employees… It was a bit uncomfortable watching a few times I was there..

We were there Saturday Oct 8 around midnight. Waitress was yelling at customers across the restaurant for various things that would “make her job harder” (her words) and even caused one teen to cry (nerves-was not one involved in situation) and one family to leave. The restaurant was not busy but waitress was not interested in seating people and every table was dirty the entire time we were there. This is the best Waffle House I’ve ever eaten at. We stopped in at Midnight on our trip and the staff was amazing! No complaints about cleanliness. Food was hot and quick. Wouldn’t hesitate to stop again. We said it’s our new spot when we are headed south
