Mesquite Chop House - Walterhill

Some friends and I went here last night. We could not figure this place out! It's a large restaurant with at least 25 tables, however, we were 1/4 tables occupied. The food and service was very good. However, it's very expensive! I had a caeser salad, pork chop and mash potato dinner, a beer, and two vodka tonics. My bill came to $83 before tip. After they ran my credit card, I noticed they charged me a $3 or $4 credit card fee. This was almost comical and for this reason alone, I won't go back. … – show

Ambiance nice, food was great, wait staff was ok, prices are ok for the amount and quality if the food. Good experience overall

Excellent jewel among Memphis's steakhouses. I can't stress enough how great this place is, the food is amazing. I had their Mesquite Grilled Pork Chop and when I tell you it melted in my mouth I'm not exaggerating. This food beat any expectations I had. I went to the Germantown location and I cant wait to come back and try one of their steaks. This location is perfect with ample parking and not too far from the expressway. Many compliments to the chef!

Mega expensive. Extremely slow service. Great food. We were one of only 3 couples there.

Enjoyed the steak. Was cooked as ordered. Sides of mushrooms and asparagus seasoned very well. Very surprised it was not crowded.
