The dining room was closed when we visited which was fine with us. I inquired as too why when it was our turn at the window and was told very short staffed. Very sad that this seems to be the norm across our country. Now on to my review, to those of you who were working at the Halls Crossroads location on 09/16/22 you all knocked it out of the park. Great deal whitefish dinner fried. All fresh good service. Went back the second time they charged extra for the Okra 59. Why I thought you were supposed to get two sides with the white fish meal. Then our meal was two or three dollars more price gouging…

Stopped at Captain D's in Halls Crossroads. Has been our favorite fish place to eat. However, the last few times will be our last. The fish, okra and hush puppies were over-cooked. Sent them back and got even worse food. We will not be back. I spent more than $25 for our food. Was supposed to get 2 sides; got charged for the 2nd side. Sorry people but we're through with this kind of service. Goodbye Captain D's.

The food was good, especially for fast food. The service was great and the restaurant was comfortable.
