Zauberkessel - Walsrode

It is an interesting place, but if they are thirsty and hungry, they are not served. when we entered the restaurant, we had to do approx. 10 minutes wait until someone shows us our table, which was already reserved for a special occasion. we finally have places outside in the garden. the whole impression was really medieval... in every sight. we had thirst, the temperature >30 c. it took a long time until we could give up our order, the waitress was friendly and helpful and explained the menu. but then we waited, waited, waited... after an hour we left this place without being served at all. we couldn't even find someone who says we're leaving. it was planned as a very special dinner for a special occasion. Finally we landed in an Italian restaurant where we got the first drink 5 minutes after arrival and had a very nice evening meal. a high on the Italian hospitality. never again magic kettle!

A step into another world. the detail is amazing. eating is very well prepared the service is very friendly and could be something more professional, but no reason to reduce to 4 points.

We have not eaten in the magic kettle because it is a vegan restaurant and we are not, therefore I cannot judge the quality of eating, but we have called on a drink. by the very friendly staff was immediately found a table for us. the interior is very clean and tidy, as is the sanitary facilities. the interior is decorated in medieval style, lighting is done by candles and replicated oil lamps, the personal is dressed in medieval clothing. the drinks are served in replicated medieval drinking vessels. all made very beautiful. the service was excellent. there is a small souvenir shop in the spaces where all possible things are sold, from bags and scarves to messers and candle holders in medieval style. a visit is worthwhile when they spend an evening in walsrode.

So a sweet and upcoming authentic medieval restaurant! authentic from the fork to the klo! simply a super experience! I was just excited to go through there. If you're close, go!

Tasty, vegan food, paired with a medieval atmosphere, make this unique local and that in walsrode! Beautiful is the open fireplace, forged cutlery and the many great seating options. not only a visit for medieval fans.
