We eat here regularly and food was delicious as usual, great value, 3 course meal with entertainment £40, Entertainment was great and staff very friendly and can't do enough for you xx

Excellent food and service , we eat here regularly and really enjoy every visit , really good real food nothing processed and cooked perfectly.

Ordered steak and kidney pie from the lunchtime menu. Steak wasn't cooked enough, couldn't cut with a knife. Full of mushrooms and carrots which didn't mention on the menu. Needed much more cooking, whole thing tasted uncooked and not rich as the menu suggested. Told the waitress who said I'll let the chef know. We recieved no apology or feedback. Won't be going back in a hurry. Very disappointing

Afternoon tea, well what can I say great selection of sandwiches including traditional egg mayo and cress to a chicken and bacon Caesar salad and prawn and salmon crostini for the wow factor, as for the middle plate mini sliders and homemade scotch eggs so good I asked for the recipe (wouldn't give it tho), a good variety of cakes on the bottom tier, constantly asked if we wanted top ups of our tea and coffee, couple of our group selected for the glass of prosecco/gin and tonic to accompany the food, all in all great little characteristic restaurant and great atmosphere for a friendly get together. I'm sure we'll be goin back again to try the main menu and see what that has to offer.

We had the set 4 course menu the choice was excellent with a bottle of wine. Starter Main Desert and a cheese board. The food was fabulous as always Couldn't eat the cheese board so they boxed it up for us to take home. What a fantastic offer service first class. Don't miss this offer its unreal.
