Rooted - Walnut Creek

This restaurant location is much larger than the one in Pleasant Hill, and the service is excellent. I really enjoyed the maple cardamom latte, as well as the apple wines! The smashed chickpea dish lacked seasoning, but I was pleased with the portion size, so I would be willing to try it again if they ever update the recipe. Overall, I'm still happy to be here. They also sell coffee beans and T-shirts. Updated from my previous review on November 9, 2022.

The service here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff were truly fantastic. The food and coffee were quite good, but I do feel it's a bit pricey for what you receive. The avocado toast was delicious, but it was rather small—essentially just toast for $11. However, I would definitely come back if I were in the area!

We visited a vegan coffee shop on a Sunday afternoon and there was a DJ playing music! We chose to sit outside because we prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. The coffee was delicious and served in a charming cup! The scone and churro were devoured in no time!

The place is beautiful and was not terribly crowded on a Sunday morning. incredible brown sugar. the donuts seemed quite fresh, although they were from an outside bakery. I look forward to connecting this place to lunch and drink.

Busy place right in downtown but no long waiting lines. Everything runs like an oiled machine. Great coffee and plant based milk selection, healthy eats and sweet tooth indulgences.
