Papa Murphy's Pizza - Walnut Creek

It was a very good small Pizza place. Mostly take and bake. They are permanently closed now.

I discovered this pizza place today and am so happy! Best pizza my friends and I have eaten in a very long time! I was so tired of uber expensive and mediocre pizza joints that I stopped buying pizza. Stopped here on a whim because stovetop needs repair as of last night. This place is a GEM! Delicious crust, fresh toppings, and at a reasonable price! Highly recommend! And, I am not a Papa Murphy's fan I ordered a baked pie to go.

Short Version: I have been here multiple times for their $6 Tue Fri 11 AM 2 PM Lunch Special. It's the closest place to me that provides a pizza by the slice deal. I can't speak to the rest of the menu but I am happy enough to just get a slice and drink when in a pinch. Drink selection is on point (for me . Long Version: I've been here before for a variety of reasons: when I didn't know what to eat for lunch, when my child randomly wants pizza, or when I wanted to mixed things up for her lunch at school. I would leave home before her lunch time, pick the pizza up, and drop it off at her classroom. One time I needed to get pizza because I was working and lost track of time, but they only had one slice left and it was pepperoni. My kid, like many kids, eats only cheese pizza. (I can't wait for her to start enjoying other toppings. I was in a rush so I said I'll take the slice, paid, and began removing the pepperoni slices. Unfortunately, I took off too much cheese. The proprietor graciously took the pizza away, added more cheese, and threw it back in the oven. He did not have to do that for me but he's a nice guy and helping a neighbor. The best part was I delivered the pizza and juicebox exactly when her lunch began.

This place is great. Friendly staff and ownership. Fresh ingredients and good texture on the crust. Certainly recommended.

We go here really frequently and have been big fans ever since they opened. The owners are very friendly And we really like the Verde veggie take and bake! Highly recommended! We get for our little family and then we have also gotten when we have had a bigger get together because it's so easy to get different take and bake pizzas and throw them in the oven.
