Crepes A Go Go - Walnut Creek

I had a vegetarian savory crepe, a dessert crepe, and a coffee, all for under $20. The flavors were fresh and delightful, with the sun-dried tomatoes and sautéed spinach being particularly tasty. The waitress was quite friendly as well. We were the only customers there at 8 AM on a Thursday.

Delicious crêpes at a reasonable price! The staff was friendly, and although the space is small, there are plenty of tables. We visited early in the morning, so I can't speak to the wait times during peak hours. Our food arrived quite quickly, and they even provided a complimentary fruit platter for our child. The restroom, however, was in poor condition. Despite that, I didn’t feel it warranted a lower rating. If possible, you might want to use a restroom elsewhere!

I stopped by for a quick, light meal and decided to try the house special #2, which comes with spinach, onions, tomatoes, and herbed feta. Unfortunately, the feta didn't have the expected saltiness and tang that you typically associate with it. To add to that, my order took a surprisingly long time to arrive, especially considering the restaurant was almost empty. I also found the batter for their sweet crepes to be a bit too sweet for my liking. On the bright side, I really enjoyed sitting outside and feeling the lovely breeze.

We visited Crepes Ooh La La on Saturday night, and the restaurant was lively, with a line extending out the door for most of our time there. The owner was managing everything single-handedly, yet he handled it all with great professionalism. He was very friendly and efficient, and the crepes were amazing! I ordered the Almond, Banana, and Honey Crepe, and it was simply delicious! What a fantastic local gem!
