The Steakhouse Wallsend

Lamb shoulder was amazing.. definitely would recommend for dinner. Staff were friendly, overall had a lovely feel to the restaurant.

When we arrived and were seated, we had our drinks order taken straight away. The orange juice and coffee arrived not long after, but I had ordered a banana milkshake as well. 15 minutes later the waitress came to our table and said they don’t do banana flavoured milkshakes, and I said I ordered it because it was on the menu, and the waitress said the flavouring was upstairs and she couldn’t go and get it. So I said I would have a chocolate one. Probably about 10 minutes later our meals came out, still no milkshake. I finished my meal and was ready to go when it was finally brought out. I said to the waitress I have finished now, though. So she took the milkshake off our bill. I never write reviews, but we were disappointed with the service.

Spectacular food and service. We enjoy the variety on the menu.

The food was well cooked. Overall it was a satisfactory meal, but not outstanding for the price. Bottled sauce was used. Smokey taste was absent from the meat. Overall a very ordinary experience.

It’s very expensive. I don’t see value for money. The food was nice but very over priced. The staff were too much. Every couple of minutes asking if everything was ok. Ask once and leave people alone.
