The Chuckwagon - Wallingford

If you want true comfort food, the Chuckwagon is it. Great dawgs. Triple burgers available if you 're so inclined. Heard the Mac 'n cheese was excellent.

Ordered the cod sandwich. It was a frozen filet that took up only half the bun. No taste at all. Fries looked and tasted like cardboard. They were obviously reheated or recooked and no seasoning. Burgers are all cooked to medium well per the menu just like McDonald's or burger King. Very likely they are frozen too. There's much better choices in town for the same price range.

This is a great little spot! We just had the Oh My Cod and the 49er (Chicken fried steak with gravey) sandwich. Very tasty food at a reasonable price for these times. I recommend for everyone to try them out!

The food looked great on Uber eats ,boy was I fooled . My hotdog and sandwich was completely drenched in grease oil to the point that I couldn’t even pick it up to eat it because the bread fell apart . Quick $35.00 down the drain

Good food, decent prices. Just what I needed. Waitress was nice as well. Patient with my indecisive son.
