Restaurant Duxeralm - Wald Im Pinzgau

After a disappointing visit last year, we gave Duxeralm a second chance. Unfortunately, there is no improvement. The service was not friendly at all; and very much focused on a consumption fast, and out! Our Wiener Schnitzels were shiny from the fat, one side boiled, other side burned almost black. We won't go back there.

Very nice meals. As usual we went for the Wiener Schnitzel. Great service. Always enjoy seeing the boss, Tim and the others. We're coming back...

We had dinners here twice and really enjoyed both. The location is beautiful over the ski areas and the service is 10/10. There is a great menu with lots of variety. I had the venison that cooked nicely and served in traditional style. In the first night we even played a band that was a very nice treat. Between the authentic meals, the ambience and the fantastic staff that my wife and I could not have asked at our weekend!

I like everything about this restaurant except one thing. In more than 50 of the restaurant you're aloud to smoke meaning a hell for us non smokers. Follow the rest of Europe and keep restaurants and bars smoke free and you will get a much higer review and more guests.

Right on the bottom of the slope. A great place to have a last couple to finish the day. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Cheers.
