Brasserie De L'aigle - Walcourt

I've known this place for over 50 years. It was pleasant and peaceful to have a drink. Disappointed during my recent visit with my childhood friend for our reunion. The current atmosphere seems to be more like a bistro than a tavern. It was noisy! The few customers, who were accustomed to it, spoke to a header from one table to another, encouraged by the server. No way to exchange face to face, the ambient noise covered our words. We shortened our coffee break.

Old atmosphere. Good place to stop and have a drink. Funny owner who really does his best to recommend a nice beer despite the language barrier. Also sweet to your children.

Nice terrace and nice manager! Don't pay a mine: seems small outside but big and charming in truth in it. Very close to a small restaurant/pizzeria that made our Sunday a small apero-meal combination:
