The Queens Arms - Wakefield

I really cannot fault the food or service here amazing quality food at a great price and something for all the family . Served a party of 10 with 10 different dishes all hot all together and all stunning

So after an excellent visit in June we came back for Sunday lunch. This wasn’t our smartest idea as they pub is clearly conserving energy. The pub was marginally warmer than outside and did impact on our overall choices. No starters no pudding. Had we not been with elderly family members we would have left it was that uncomfortable. The food arrived quickly, two chicken roasts, a beef a gammon. We received a centre bowl of mixed vegetables which the chef clearly hadn’t seasoned. Food was ok but a little cool. In summary I feel that this place is feeling the pinch and the overall quality service have suffered. Will we return, who knows there are lots of establishments competing for the trade and many still with a customer focus. Sad really sad.

Excellent home cooked food that beats all the local competition on price quality, the pizza's are fantastic come with home made chips. Loads of gluten free options including pizza's fish n chips. One of wakefield little gems.

I dined at this restaurant on Saturday night, and unfortunately, the scampi was undercooked. Additionally, the young bartender took our plates away while we were still eating, which seemed very unprofessional. It is possible that they may not have received adequate training. Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience and will not be returning.

Have eaten here on several occasions and it never disappoints. The food is always fabulous and Tasty. Everything is home cooked, including the chips which are amazing. There are plenty of delicious meals to choose from and the staff are always polite and really friendly. Good quality food at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this pub for eating and drinking.
