Hampsons Plantworld Cafe - Wakefield

We were buying plants we decided to go in and have our breakfast we had a small one and both disappointed the plates were cold the fried eggs like bullets most of the food was cold and the one rasher of bacon was shrivelled up will not eat there again

After spending a good hour in teh garden cnetre , we needed a rest . So, we found a table in theh bright and airy conservatory area . Staff were busy making sure teh areas were clean and tidy . We oredered ham sandwiches , cakes and tea . The food arrived brisky and in a welll presented fashion. Tasty and good value . Will trturn.

Coffee was nice and warm. However, used to be quite affordable but they have increased prices significantly, not really justified in a poor location with nothing spectacular to be offered. Had a flapjack but hard as a rock, eventually got a refund after finding out we were overcharged anyway! Not particularly friendly, warm staff. Young girl served us was quite rude and could do with some customer service training. Bit of a shame as it used to be okay.

I waited for 30 minutes and received cold fish and chips. The staff was unfriendly and the plant prices were only 50% off. What's the point?

I went to the café for a coffee and pot of tea. When the tea arrived, the teapot was dirty. I was not happy with this experience and I will not be returning to this café. It just needs a good cleaning.
