Bracken Hill Fisheries - Wakefield

This village chippy is definitely the best choice for fresh, high-quality fish and generous portions of chips. It offers great value for money and is my go-to spot for a satisfying meal. The only downside is that they do not offer scampi, so I may visit a different chippy if I am in the mood for that particular dish.

I ordered 125 chip butties for a group of runners in the village and they were all packed individually with plenty of chips. The bread cakes were fresh and delicious, and the chips were hot and light and fluffy. Everything was ready on time and they even included some curry sauce and mushy peas, which was a nice surprise. I will definitely be returning for large orders and family dinners. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. This is the best chip shop in Ackworth, I don't know of any others in the area that can compare to the quality and service here.

The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. It's a great value for the money and they now accept card payments. I will definitely be returning.

Third time me and the wife has visited this fish and chip shop I understand it's under new ownership... The fish and chips are lovely the batter is light and crispy and the peas are very chip shop tasty... exceptional we have got to give this place 10 out 10... Excellent.
