Boogie Woogie Bagel - Wakefield

Popped in for the first time. We fell lucky as there was a pianist playing upstairs which was very enjoyable. Nice that the coffee is served in a cafetière. We had a whole grain bagel with cream cheese and it was served with coleslaw and a small portion of vegetable crisps on the side. The chap who served us (who I assume was the owner) had a pleasant demeanour and I thought the prices were very reasonable. Will certainly revisit.

Love this place… great filled bagels, friendly owner, great coffee and beer and best of all, good jazz in a tiny hidden garden.

This place came on our radar when the owner gave free samples on a Friday night. they were delicious! I and my fiancée have made a vow to give the place a try for our Sunday breakfast. it didn't disappoint! the breakfast bagels were amazing. the ingredients are well chosen and fresh. the coffee is real and local. the mood and feeling of the place is excellent with its local art and the smooth jazz. will definitely return, a real little jewel of a local business that needs to be supported.

I was looking for a quiet spot to have a meal and a coffee before an early morning meeting in Wakefield, and I discovered this place a few weeks ago. They don't advertise much, so it's pretty low-key, but it's a real gem. I could relax with a fantastic filter coffee from North Star and enjoyed a delicious sausage and egg sandwich. It was amazing! The woman who served me was also incredibly friendly. I will definitely be back.
