Lumpy's Ice Cream - Wake Forest

The ice cream at this restaurant is delicious and it's a popular spot in the area. Parking can be limited, especially on a Sunday afternoon, but we were able to find a spot off the street after a short walk. The selection of flavors isn't extensive, but the ones they do have are excellent. There are a few outdoor seating options with umbrellas, which is a nice touch. However, the indoor seating is cozy and a bit cramped.

The experience was delightful as soon as I entered and caught a whiff of the freshly fried waffle cones! And the variety of ice cream flavors was impressive!

As someone who loves ice cream, I can confidently say that Lumpy's serves the best ice cream I have ever tasted. The flavors are fun and rich, and even the cones are crispier, fresher, and more buttery than anywhere else. My personal favorite is the butter pecan, but I always have a hard time deciding because they are all so delicious. Lumpy's is worth the drive to Wake Forest every weekend!

It’s the best! Never gets boring because they change flavors often. Friendly service and Buck gives back to the community. Oh and if you like root beer like I do then they have a large section of root beer in the bottle!

Best and cheapest ice cream in North Carolina. They always have the best ice cream flavors and some ones I never thought could be so amazing. I love this place.
