Lawson's Finest Liquids - Waitsfield

Overpriced and underwhelmed. I am no stranger to paying up for the finer things in life. But this restaurant will leave you hungry, your pallet starved for flavor and your wallet empty. If you are craving a quality meal and you happen to be in Waitsfield, I suggest looking elsewhere. The beer is good, the staff is friendly, but this self service eatery is not what you would expect. This restaurant is a missed opportunity for Lawsons to give back to a small ski town that doesn't have much to offer in terms of tourist attractions or quality dinning experiences.

My wife ordered the shrimp roll and thought it was a nice alternative to a lobster roll—she really enjoyed it. I went with the Vermont grilled cheese, and while it's just grilled cheese, it was definitely an upgrade thanks to the Red Hen bread, Cabot cheddar, and bacon. The atmosphere was very cozy, reminiscent of the Von Trapp family vibe, and the views were spectacular. Our 4-year-old had a great time with the arcade games they had set up. The gift shop was also a fun spot to pick up a magnet and sticker. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place with amazing beers! Also a great band outside

Great modern brewery. Their IPA is fantastic and a Vermont classic. As for food , we enjoyed their granny Sammy sandwich. Skip the salads. It could use more finesse and seasoning.

Absolutely wonderful place. Some of the best brews I've had in a long while. I would specifically recommend the Barrel Aged Maple Stout and a pretzel with beer cheese.
