Subway - Waipio Acres

Found a bug on the spinach in my sandwich : not what you want to see when you're starving and looking forward to eating your meal.

Sooo everyone has had Subway sandwiches at one time or another right? If not then I got the Subway for you! Located in the small strip mall next to the Costco Waipio. I'm not gonna go into detail about the sandwich because I gotta say. I ain't had a bad sandwich at any Subway on this island, but this place has customer service in spades! The Bruddah making the sandwiches was awesome. Super friendly, super helpful in the choices, and super fast and efficient. He wanted my veggie order before my sandwich was outta the toaster and he hit it perfectly. Even offering extra everything if I wanted it. Who does that?And while I was eating in the super clean restaurant I even heard him making a sandwich via speaker phone for a customers wife and he was just as friendly and efficient with her. That's awesome. This place better watch out. This sandwich maker's CS skills are on point!Anyway only down side is the actual parking for the building. It's horrible but that's not their fault. Just park in the Costco lot near the Makai side and you should be all good. Rahja dat!

Food is fresh and the interior is always clean! Billy is kind and awesome to talk to. He makes great conversation while making your sandwich! 10/10 recommend for a delicious sandwich and a quick chat!

I recently visited Subway and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The employee who took my order was wearing airpods and seemed completely disengaged from the task at hand. As a result, my order was completely messed up. Not only did they forget to include several of the toppings I had requested, but they also added ones that I specifically asked to be left off.To make matters worse, when I pointed out the error, the employee simply took the lettuce off my sandwich and put it back in the bin for reuse. This was completely unsanitary and completely unacceptable. It was clear that the employee was more interested in listening to their music than paying attention to their job.I would not recommend this Subway location to anyone. The lack of attention to detail and disregard for cleanliness was a major turnoff. I will definitely be finding a different place to get my sandwiches from now on.
