Tamura's Wailuku

This is a local spot that offers delicious poke, and the meat prices are quite reasonable. The vegetables are fresh and sourced from local growers. They also have a selection of Asian snacks, a variety of ready-made desserts, and sides like salted cabbage, lomi salmon, and poi in small containers. You can find veggie salads and hot entrees as well.

Food was terrible. Got a couple plate lunches. Which used to be pretty decent but I took a few bites of my plate and threw it away. I feel bad for the employees because it seems to be out of their hands. They are sweet and super helpful, which is the only reason I gave them 2 stars. It seems like the management just gave up on making any hot food. But oh well. Se la vie

Among all the poke places I visited in Maui, this one is by far the best. It's reasonably priced, offers a fantastic selection, and everything is incredibly fresh. The location is quite unusual, situated in what feels like an industrial area on the island. But the poke is simply outstanding!

The lunch counter offers fantastic local flavors, generous portions, and affordable prices. I haven't tried anything here that I didn't enjoy. Some of my favorites are the prime rib, shoyu pork, and paniolo spaghetti. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and it's great to support local businesses. Today, I ordered from the poke counter and had a spicy pipikaula and spicy ahi poke bowl. The portions were generous, and the ahi was fresh and tasty. I also grabbed a bag of boiled peanuts on my way out.

Super awesome poke bowls! Great poke, price depends on market value but its ono. I ate there 3 out of 4 days i was on maui.
