Murray River Queen - WAIKERIE

My wife and I had a wonderful evening on board. We celebrated our honeymoon on this ship in 1977, so it was a special experience to visit it again. The service was fantastic and the Thai restaurant was outstanding- I especially loved the choo chee prawns- they were amazing. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast before we left. Our cabin was big, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in cabin 7 on the Riverside of the boat.

Stopped for coffee and cake and was made extremely welcome. Nice coffee, if not a little small for me and lovely fresh cake. Outlook is worth the stop. Floating on the river. Just absolutely delightful. Would like to return and try the Thai dinner. LoveY. Otice in the ladies toilets stating they are going to be renovated. Very hopeful for this boat / restaurant.

Went to Murray River Queen for a meal with 10 others on Saturday night. Some had the banquet and some ordered from the menu, all meals were of an authentic Thai flavour and a great standard. The service was excellent and the view and atmosphere out on deck is wonderful.

Went with friends for coffee on the Murray River Queen. It was delightful. We could sit out on deck on a sunny afternoon and watch activities on the river. If not for the great venue, I would rate the restaurant lower -- service and food were about average. But if you are in Waikerie, you should stop in for a flat white.

Once again a great meal with good service and good friends. Good setting with a full moon. Definitely be backwards.
