Contribuiți la feedbackWe called in on the advice of tripadvisor. What a pleasant surprise. A beautiful spot on the river with a friendly welcome and a cool craft ale to quench my thirst. We did not stay for lunch, but will do next time.
Caudo Winery, located just a short drive or boat ride away from Waikerie, offers breathtaking views that make the journey well worth it. The staff is consistently cheerful and attentive, and the food options like platters, pizzas, and BBQs are always delicious. Caudo Winery is a must-visit destination in the Riverland region.
Loved our unique experience at Caudo, cooking our own BBQ platter and sampling local sangria and beer( white sangria was my fav). Set beside the river the atmosphere, drinks food and service was fantastic, particularly for the Christmas period. There was a mess up with our order re bread and its availability but once we bought it to the staffs attention they were fantastic and couldn't apologise enough and went above and beyond to rectify the mistake - A+ for recovery. Having lived in this area and returning often I am so pleased to find this Gem- they deserve all the kudos for their innovation. They are number 1 in the area for me.
This place is a slice of relaxtion heaven, with their own brand of sangria white or red, both tasty as! I wish I could live there, swim, water ski, houseboat perfect. On an amazing river bend called Hogwash Bend and easy to get to!
Just spent one of the best lunch times at a winery ever. The Caudo winery is right on the Murray River 15 minutes from Morgan Caravan Park. We lunched on Sunday of the lobour day long weekend and first impressions are the lovely gardens leading to the bar and eatery on the lawns of the river. The staff offered tastings before we decided our choice, they were very friendly and informative. Lunch choices were the tasty plate of ham, cheeses, olives and breads etc, BBQ plate and Salad or Pizzas. The BBQ plate our choice was delicious while sitting back listening to live music whilst enjoying a Caudo Semillon Chardonnay. The winery is know for a variety of wines and beer especially their own Sangria. Spoke to the owner Joe who was very approachable and informative to get an insist to the workings of the winery and notifying us of all the river events on the river at this venue (national water skiing and True Grit to name two). Value for money excellent, well worth calling in.
