Sol Cafe Waiheke - Waiheke Island

Stopped by here for a drink and a snack and we were served a real treat of beautiful Crudo Tostada very special!

What an amazing experience on a beautiful Sunday it was! We took a ferry ride to Waiheke island. This island is full of amazing people! We met the restaurant owner of Sol Bar Cafe. She gave us a tour to the cafe. Informed us about the upcoming event where 200 people are expected to join. She offered us to join their boat in the evening! She said she would be our Argentine mom in Waiheke island if we start living there. What an amazingly positive and energetic person! All the staff including Kiara are so happy and fun people that you will feel happy instantly . Not to mention it in a beautiful location of gorgeous Waiheke!

Favourite cafe in Waiheke hands down!!! The service was nice and friendly, the atmosphere is super nice (I can imagine it being even nicer in summer! , and the food was so yum. Most cafes we’ve been to on the island are average but this is the only one we’ve found where the price matches the quality of food (and it’s a bit cheaper than most places . They just finished a reno and are under new owners who seem like they have a good idea of how to run a nice, cool establishment coffee was great!

Loved this place for breakfast so much that we came back a second time on our short trip to Waiheke. Highly recommend the Summer Toast and the Brekky Sandwich — the bread on both is so good. Vegetarian friendly!

On a cool clear crisp winters morning, very happy to sit in the sunshine in the rear courtyard looking at the ocean. Really really yum food and awesome service !
