Kathies Kitchen - Waerenga

When we entered the restaurant area, we noticed many empty tables. The waitress seemed bored and didn't inform us that we needed to go up to her to place our order, even though she handed us menus. I ordered the crumbed scallops with baby spinach and caper aioli, which unfortunately had too much sauce and lacked presentation. My friends ordered the sirloin steak, which was decent, and we also tried the tiger garlic bread, although it was difficult to pull apart. Overall, the experience was average, with room for improvement in both service and food presentation.
