Uncle Dan's Bbq Ribhouse - Waco

In waco from the city and did not know about any bbq places, so google showed us onkel dan’s. we were on Friday after lunch, so there was no line. the food was good. had no great variety, but appetit was satisfied. service was very good at the counter and after eating as a heart courtesy offered to delete the table for us as we were finished.

Ordered 2 chopped brisket sandwiches and I baked potato chips. not cool. meat should have been thrown away. drive at 7:05 Friday night. Order form

The food was great, but the portions were small for the price. drinking was overpriced. there were only 2 people in front of us, but we were ignored for a few minutes. it was not even busy, no cars were in the car drive thru. the service could have been a bit polite.

As always the service and food was wonderful and lived up to my expectations! I have been going to this establishment through all of its manifestations and changes of name, location and menu since sometime in 1975 or before, and I am never disappointed no matter how long my absence. It is so nice to have a local place to go that you don?t have to worry about the quality or consistency of food and service although COVID finally took away the last Smokehouse items on the menu. I still miss those! Thank you Danny and family and crew for staying true and being there for a long time customer. You are appreciated ?

First time here and I really enjoyed it. I will say that the meat portions could be more for the price but I was very pleased with the taste. The only thing I would not recommend is the turkey, it reminded me more of a deli style turkey. The brisket was great, and if you haven?t tried the white potato salad, omg it was so good. The portions for sides are well worth it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the place was clean and tidy. It wasn?t busy at all but I didn?t mind. Overall I would recommend this place as a very good bbq option. I would have given 5 stars if there was more meat portions.
