Schmaltz's Sandwich Shoppe - Waco

Excellent sandwiches and chef salads. Really glad I went, as usual.

They have been serving food for many years, and their sandwiches are absolutely incredible.

I haven't been since I moved in the 80s but they have the best sandwich I ever had. Moving back and this will be the first place I go!!

Without a doubt, this is the best deli in Waco. It's a fantastic place for lunch. I used to come here regularly during college, and I haven't found anything comparable since then. It was great to return!

I had a large Schmaltz sandwich, but it came with very little meat. The small pastrami was a better value. While the food tasted good, I found it overpriced given the portion size. The staff were friendly, but the service was a bit slow. When I paid, they asked me to choose a tip, which felt unnecessary since I walked up to place and pick up my order myself.
